DAR Giving

We Salute our DAR Donors
Many Daughters give gifts directly to Hindman Settlement School. Others choose to donate through their local or state chapters, or through NSDAR. The Settlement School recognizes and receipts all direct gifts and will recognize those donors through its donor clubs.

Gifts donated through DAR chapters or NSDAR may be credited to an individual donor record if we receive donor information through NSDAR. However, the receipt will go to the entity that makes the gift to the Settlement School.

Gifts of All Sizes Matter to Us
Because of a recent change in the way donations are reported to DAR Schools by NSDAR, we are only able to acknowledge and record gifts of $100 or more that are given through NSDAR (and only if they identify the donor to us). If you have given a gift under $100 through NSDAR and would like for your gift to be credited to your giving record, please contact us and we will update your record and acknowledge your gift.

DAR Honor Roll
The DAR Honor Roll recognizes DAR State Societies and Chapters that contribute $1,000 or more during the calendar year. Individual DAR member gifts are recognized through the Settlement’s individual donor clubs. Donors may request to remain anonymous and thereby not be listed in our annual Donor Report.
