Golf Event Raises $19,460 to Support Programs

1st Place Winners: Brand Advertising Group (Craig Turner, Paul Cleaver, Susie Merida & Jeff Tipton)

Hindman Settment School's 5th Annual Golf Scramble at StoneCrest golf course in Prestonsburg was a big success. Brand Advertising Group's team placed first in the 16-team event with a score of 55. Clean Gas placed second and Whitaker Bank third.

Despite the threat of rain, it was a beautiful day for golf. While no one won the Hole-in-One Contest, sponsored by Cardinal Automotive of Hazard, it certainly made for an interesting competition on hole number eight.

Ronnie Collins of Alice Lloyd College won the Closest to the Pin contest and Ralph Clark, with Casey's IGA team, won the Longest Drive.
