Marie Stewart Museum & Crafts Shop
The Settlement's long tradition of promoting Appalachian crafts continues today through the beautiful Marie Stewart Museum & Crafts Shop. Since it opened in the fall of 1995, more than 100 craftspeople have had their crafts accepted through a jurying process. The Marie Stewart Museum & Crafts Shop is a consignment shop and a service program to help market quality crafts from the region.

The Museum & Crafts Shop is located on the Settlement campus, across the road from the Knott County Opportunity Center in an historic log structure. Many books by regional authors and CDs of regional music are also available for sale at the Crafts Shop.
