It is a pleasure to announce our inaugural Chefs’ Night gala at the University of Pikeville on Saturday, February 23, 2019! Hindman Settlement School’s inaugural Chefs’ Night will gather up to 15 of the region’s leading chefs and restaurants, all for the benefit of children with dyslexia and local families facing food insecurity.
Chefs’ Night pays tribute to the culinary excellence of local chefs, who will present their signature dishes. In addition to the meal, guests will enjoy entertainment featuring Walker Montgomery and Sam Gleaves, along with a silent and live auction to support the Settlement’s vital mission.
This event is a first-of-its-kind experience for our region and our school, and we would like to invite our friends and partners from near and far to come and enjoy fine food from up to 15 local chefs, featuring Chef Ouita Michel, a member of Hindman’s board of directors and Kentucky’s very own “top chef.” Local restaurants represented include Brickhouse, Bank 253, Pig in a Poke, El Picante, and more.
You can learn more about featured chefs and restaurants on our website, as well as access ticketing information. Don’t delay! https://www.hindmansettlement.org/chefsnight
There are also additional slots remaining for chefs, restaurants, and sponsors. To learn more about these opportunities, contact Hillary Harkins, Annual Fund Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org by calling 606-785-5475.
I look forward to welcoming you to the University of Pikeville on February 23!
