We are thrilled to introduce Isabelle Ryerson as the newest member of the Settlement’s Advancement team!
Hailing from the Hoosier State, Isabelle was born and raised in Carmel, Indiana where she lived until going to college in Georgia. Isabelle recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations from Berry College in Mount Berry, Georgia. During her time in college, Isabelle was an active participant in the Berry College student work program where she worked in the college’s Advancement office on projects designed to build relationships and support for the institution.
In her free time, Isabelle keeps busy as a fourth generation member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the P.E.O. Sisterhood. She also serves on the planning committee for the Connect Orthodox Young Adult Conference, a nationwide gathering of Orthodox Christians under 40. During high school, she had the opportunity to spend a year living in the Faroe Islands as part of the Rotary Youth Exchange Program, which cemented her love of cold, rainy and snowy weather. When skies are grey, she delights in nothing more than to settle in with a cup of tea for a cozy chat with friends. A long time lover of the Appalachian Mountains, Isabelle is eager for the adventures that await in her new Kentucky home.
As the school’s Advancement Officer, Isabelle will found and maintain valuable relations with donors. Isabelle will also use the skills gained at Berry College, her dedication to mission, and desire for success to plan events for the Hindman Settlement School. Last, but most certainly not least, Isabelle will represent the Hindman Settlement School at NSDAR chapters across the nation as she continues her service with them.
Please join us in welcoming Isabelle to Hindman!
