Developing Your Manuscript: A Master Class in Poetry
Facilitator: Pauletta Hansel
Dates: November 12 – December 12, 2018
Class Size: 5
In this workshop poets will begin the work to develop an existing group of poems into a unified collection, be that a chapbook or chapter or “skeleton” of a larger manuscript. Exercises and workshop will be geared toward bringing poems into a strong relationship with each to create a cohesive whole, as well as strengthening existing individual poems and generating new ones. A 15-20 poem manuscript is our final project. This workshop is a master class and is limited to five students.
