Meet Ali Hintz
Ali joined the Settlement School in June 2018 serving as an Americorps VISTA with the Foodways Program. She graduated in May 2018 from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in water and soil resources. At the University of Georgia, she conducted research on sustainable crop production and participated in collegiate soil judging competitions.
Ali originally hails from the mountains of Northcentral Pennsylvania where she learned to love mountain agriculture. She spends her free time writing poetry and fishing for bass. If you can’t find her on the farm or in the office, she’s probably fishing off the bank of Carr Creek Lake.
